El Forense y los medios de comunicación

 

Sobre los medios de comunicación

Los diferentes medios noticiosos y el manejo que hacen de los aconteceres de la sociedad influyen decisivamente en el ánimo de la gente y en la forma en que vislumbran la solución de sus problemas. El sesgo noticioso, espectacular y la necesidad de ser la fuente de la noticia, a su manera, van construyendo opinión pública y en muchos casos desvirtuando el sentido y servicio social que les es inherente.

Son contados los medios informáticos en donde la imparcialidad y el pluralismo hacia la víctima o el presunto victimario es su línea. Estos, con su mesura, su análisis de la noticia y que prevén la importancia que vierten en sus informaciones generalmente no son las primeras fuentes, sino las m.s retardadas. Primero se informan, analizan y después ellos, a su vez, transmiten la noticia, sin sesgos, sin preferencias y sin ánimo de influir en el pensamiento de nadie. La otra parte, infortunadamente la mayor.a, buscan a toda costa su protagonismo, el enfoque tendencioso o espectacular para el rating. Estos cazas noticias, corren apresurados en la nota, que atropella, no verificada, repetitiva y que generalmente juzga sin razonamiento.

Sobre los forenses

El forense al desempe.ar sus actividades, en casos que se tornan mediáticos, son sometidos a jornadas de intenso estrés. La opinión del experto se encuentra bajo la urgencia de resultados, ejercida por los medios que exigen m.s y m.s información, la presión social «mediatizada» y que fue «preparada» por los propios medios y en muchos casos a las exigencias poco racionales de sus jefes sometidos, a su vez, por sus propios superiores que exigen resultados inmediatos para la nota informativa.

Así, el forense lucha día a día por la eficiencia y calidad científica de su trabajo, aplicando ciencia y tecnología contra la urgencia informativa y contra la tentación casi siempre salvadora que otorga el confort del uso del «formato institucional», y/o el «cumplimiento de manuales de procedimientos» y en su caso, la aplicación de «acuerdos interinstitucionales» que nadie vigila y plagados de «sugerencias», cuasi ordenes, que escandalizan a la ciencia.

 

La solución

Si se dice, que la pericial es la bondad del sistema judicial, entonces, dotemos a los cuerpos periciales de herramientas, otorguemos cursos, muchos cursos de actualización en sus .reas competentes, no les demos cursos que solo sirven para cubrir horas curriculares sin beneficio, brindemos mayor espacio a sus actividades, dotemos a sus jefaturas de verdaderos líderes, que también expertos, organicen, gestionen y comprendan la labor y el compromiso social que tienen en la aplicación de la justicia, imparcial y transparente, no les pongamos jefes autoritarios que amenazan, piden y exigen manipulación, en su caso, denunciarlos.

La labor pericial enfrenta retos, el primero de ellos, el m.s relevante, darles credibilidad; el segundo reto, respetar su tan cantada autonomía; tercero, otorgarles recursos consistentes en equipos, insumos forenses, espacios y software y todo aquello que apoye sus labores, otra necesidad que tienen es gestionar que mejore su ambiente laboral mediante estímulos y reconocimientos a los mejores laboratorios forenses, y los forenses en particular, procurar sus espacios familiares y entre sus pares, respetando sus d.as de asueto, y apoyándolos institucionalmente en sus tomas de decisiones.

También, la sociedad debe ser más analítica en la información que recibe. La sociedad que vivimos es el reflejo de la solución que damos a nuestros problemas y es evidente que no hemos acertado. Respetemos la autonomía pericial y tratemos a los forenses como lo que son, humanos con necesidades personales, necesidades familiares, que buscan con su trabajo también mejorar la relación social y el avance digno de la sociedad.
