LOS INFORMES POLICIALES Costa Rica

El informe es un documento escrito en prosa, tiene como objetivo comunicar información a una persona que jerárquicamente está a un nivel superior en la institución policial. Este escrito narra hechos obtenidos o verificados por el autor y tiene características que lo distinguen de otros tipos de escritos.

Es leído como una obligación de trabajo por el destinatario. Es preparado en una situación específica durante la instrucción del sumario y cumple una necesidad de información para ilustrar a la persona que tiene la tarea de investigar un hecho.

El lector del informe es generalmente un solo individuo, o a veces un grupo unido por razones de trabajo o de función.El material documental se usa en forma liberal (fotografías, croquis, fotocopias, etc.) utiliza un vocabulario técnico.La solicitud es una petición, requerimiento o pretensión realizada por escrito con el propósito de conseguir algo de otra persona o institución. la mayoría de las veces el destinatario de una solicitud de la institución policial tiene la obligación legal de acceder a lo requerido. Adquiere el carácter de ruego cuando el destinatario no está obligado legalmente a conceder la petición, como es el caso de requerimientos a los jueces.Personas gramaticales de la redacción: cuando se escribe un informe, una solicitud o cualquier otro tipo de texto, se emplean verbos en modo personal, es decir, verbos conjugados que llevan expresadas o sobreentendidas las personas gramaticales. las personas gramaticales son los pronombres: yo, tú, usted, él, nosotros, vosotros, ustedes y ellos, y sus respectivos femeninos y el neutro ello. Los informes policiales son documentos oficiales que describen los reclamos que los policías manejan. Un informe de la policía abrirá una investigación sobre la demanda y permitirá a la policía tomar acciones.

Clasificación de los informes policiales
Informe de delito: permite a la policía tener una buena idea de lo que sucedió cuando un delito se llevó a cabo incluso sin verlo. estos informes se presentan por delitos como robo, asalto y vandalismo. el informe consta de cinco partes separadas, comenzando con un encabezado que rápidamente señala de que se trata el mismo. allí hay una introducción que describe el objeto del informe y un cuerpo que detalla exactamente lo que se reporta. el informe concluye con una declaración que resume los puntos mencionados en el cuerpo del mismo y una recomendación que describe lo que el funcionario cree que debe hacerse sobre la denuncia.

Informe administrativo: reporta violaciones documentales y delitos de los miembros del personal, detallando la información que permitirá a la policía tomar medidas administrativas en respuesta al incidente. el informe administrativo se diferencia de un informe de delito, ya que incluye a los agentes de policía y el personal, quienes pueden ser culpables de mala conducta. el informe administrativo puede dar lugar a uno de los cinco resultados posibles. si es «infundado» significa que la acusación ha sido refutada o bien carece de fundamento fáctico. si el informe «no es sostenido» significa que la alegación no puede ser probada o desmentida y por lo tanto no se toma ninguna acción. en el caso de que la acusación resulte «exonerada», se determina que la acusación ha ocurrido, pero se encontró que era legal. una «acusación sostenida» significa que se ha encontrado en violación de las políticas del departamento. por último, si la acusación se determina un «fallo en las políticas», las acciones de los oficiales están en conformidad con la política de la policía y las leyes, pero las políticas se someten a revisión.
