EL DESCUENTO POR TRABAJO: Cada dos días de trabajo descuenta uno, solo se aplica en indiciados y los que cumplieron la mitad de la condena
EL BENEFICIO EN EL TERCIO DE LA PENA: Se concede al privado de libertad, que haya cumplido con los programas y expectativas del sistema penitenciario, debe aportar domicilio y oferta laboral. Posteriormente queda en un régimen penitenciario de menos contención que puede ir a dormir cada cierto tiempo al centro carcelario.
LA LIBERTAD CONDICIONAL: no es propia del sistema penitenciario, sino del juzgado de ejecución de la pena y se concede bajo los mismos parámetros del tercio de la pena, indispensable es que el privado de libertad no sea reincidente.
